The town of Lebane

At first glance, Lebane might seem like any other small town. But what makes it truly unforgettable are the moments that linger long after you’ve gone—the kind of experiences that honestly feed the soul. So, come hang out with us for a while! Dive into our traditions, tuck into some incredible local food, and get lost in stories that bridge our storied past with a bright future. We’ll be here waiting for your return.
You can’t miss Caričin Grad—a 6th-century masterpiece with a history as grand as its founder, Emperor Justinian I. While you’re in town, you have to try the local produce, especially our tomatoes; they’re so good we celebrate them every July at the Paradajz Fest! But the real highlight? The locals, who will welcome you like an old friend.
Thanks to Serbia’s Integral Development projects, Lebane is evolving fast. We’ve already opened the state-of-the-art Caričin Grad Visitor Center, and there’s plenty more coming: the new Čukljenik park for nature lovers, fresh scenic routes through the stunning Radan Mountain, and a complete glow-up for our town center. Keep an eye out for the new bus station, the upgraded Teodora Visitor Center, and a sleek new footbridge over the Jablanica River, inspired by the elegance of Empress Theodora.
