The 6th traditional Flower Fair “Floral Garden” (Cvetna bašta), held on May 14th and 15th, 2026, in Lebane, has successfully concluded. For two days, the plateau in front of the “Radan” Cultural Center became a hub of spring colors, fragrances, and creative ideas for home and garden decoration.
The event was organized by the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Lebane, with support from the Municipality of Lebane. Once again, it proved its importance in promoting horticulture and local tourism.
Across 20 beautifully decorated stalls, 15 agricultural holdings and producers from Lebane and Leskovac showcased their hard work and finest flora specimens. Visitors enjoyed a rich selection of items:
- Indoor and garden flowers (petunias, wax begonias, calla lilies)
- Ornamental plants and low shrubs
- Horticultural equipment and decorative flower pots
In addition to shopping, citizens received useful advice directly from the growers on how to care for their plants during the upcoming summer months. The significance of the event was highlighted by a visit from local government representatives, led by the Deputy Mayor, Goran Lazarević.
The Director of the Lebane Tourism Organization, Darko Stanković, emphasized that the fair is a key initiative for supporting local producers. It provides them with free promotional space and direct access to the market. At the end of the program, certificates of appreciation were officially presented to all exhibitors for their contribution to this spectacular event.
