Saturday, April 18th, 2026, was all about ecology and cultural tourism.
Members of the “Health and Well-being” association from Oblačina (Merošina municipality) and the “Nomad Eco Travel” travelers’ club visited the municipality of Lebane. During their tour of the Čukljenik park, around twenty of them joined a spring cleanup action organized by the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Lebane in the “Čukljenik” tourist and recreational park.
The association’s representative, Guljmira Dinić, emphasized that keeping nature clean, especially tourist spots like Čukljenik, directly affects the health of us all. It is our shared responsibility!
Following the successful eco-action, the guests, accompanied by their hosts, toured the Caričin Grad (Justinian Prima) archaeological site. This visit was an opportunity to connect through socializing and discover one of the most significant Byzantine cities in the Balkans. It perfectly closed the loop between caring for natural heritage and promoting top values—solidarity, environmental awareness, and culture.
